Kari Ikonen Trio

The Finnish Kari Ikonen Trio has been active since 2012. Its two albums "Bright" and "Beauteous Tales and Offbeat Stories" on German label Ozella have gained a lot of international success, making the band busy playing at clubs and festivals all over Europe, and in Japan, South-Korea, Russia, Turkey, Australia and the USA. KIT's third album Wind, Frost & Radiation was released April 27, 2018 by Ozella Music!

Tsuumi Sound system                        Finnish Urban Etno

Tsuumi Sound System is one of Finland's the most notable world music groups of the 21st Century. Rooted in Nordic folk traditions, they've toured extensively in 20 different countries around the globe, recorded three widely praised albums and a live session on BBC 3, and worked together with groups like Väsen and Die Deutsche Kammerfilharmonie.

Their four studio albums have received excellent reviews around the world. "Gorgeous textures, stealthy invention and sheer beauty", Fiona Talkington wrote of Floating Letters (released in 2013). Crowds from Shetland Folk Festival to Folkest in Spilimbergo, Italy have once gain witnessed their live energy quoted "volcanic" and "outrageous".

Göteborg Jazz Orchestra är en mötesplats för professionella musiker som vill utvecklas och uttrycka sig som solister, ensemblemusiker och kompositörer. Med en repertoar som tilltalar de flesta vill Göteborg Jazz Orchestra bredda intresset för storbandsjazzen på västkusten.  

Pulse Trio

Pulse Trio is an improvised music piano trio led my Latvian drummer and composer Pauls Pokratnieks based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Original music by Pauls is inspired by various, both musical and practical experiences he has felt on his skin during his journey through the music and life. His various influences of different genres combined with the love for jazz and improvisation has shaped the sound of this band. Pauls together with renowned Swedish pianist Fabian Kallerdahl and Finnish bassists Olli Rantala balances between simple, beautiful melodies, energetic grooves and free collective improvisations.

Tanguedia Quintet w. Sinfonietta Lentua

Tanguedia Quintet was founded in 2007 and has quickly become one of Finland's foremost bands specialized in the new music of Buenos Aires, particularly the music of the legendary bandoneonist and composer Astor Piazzolla. Now Tanguedia Quintet is increasingly performing music of their own as well as comissioned works from contemporary Finnish composers i.e. Kari Ikonen, Kirmo Lintinen and Jukka Linkola.
